Hi All,

Didn't know where to post this so I followed where it was posted last year. Does anybody plan on going this year? I am off from work and have the chance to go, but just want to know what it is all about, will I find anything to suit my needs, as I collect 3RS and from what I've read this is mostly 2RS. I'm up in Tracy CA for those of you who live out here and it is a good hour and one half drive, plus the entrance fee. I searched for info online as I did last year but didn't come up with much and not very many pictures, so just looking for recommendation from people who may have gone or or going this year. I don't want to discourage anyone from going as it is a train show none the less and I'm all for getting more people, aka, younger generation into model railroading, so just want to know if most of the items there are 3RS and in general what is there I guess. Thanks!

Conrailfan,

I was at the show yesterday helping set up our 3RS club layout, Golden Gate Lionel Railroad Club. Walked around to see what the vendors will be offering. Lots of very nice buildings, detail parts and accessories that will fit into 3RS scheme. As for rolling stock, very little from what I saw. As for engines, I didn't see any 3 rail but there might be a hand full at best.

If you decide to come up, stop by our layout in the back of the room. It's the only 3 rail layout. As I understand, we are the only 3 rail layout that has been invited to display our layout for the past several years.
