After almost two months of not doing anything on my layout I start a bit again and that is improving the greenery. With these photos I show whether it is correct and of course on this forum. By taking pictures I find out it is good or not. The pictures I show is the yard where it all started with the old rocks which I did in the beginning. The rocks on the other side are much better because of better molds.

What I saw over the years is what I have and seen by others that the color yellow is not alway's the same of the Union Pacific models in O scale. The picture what I show you is a caboose painted by Overland itself and the number 5 factory painted. I think and what I seen in reality the color is also not everywhere the same. I only talking what I bought new or painted by Overland. Costum painting  yellow is difficult I know this because I done it on the Verande Turbine but you can close to the factory painted models and painting layer by layer not too thick but it is a gigantic job, well for me.

This section you see more of it what my layout is, the track goes over the stairs to the other side. This I have build in the beginning so 6 years ago and I'm still improving as much as possible. The track what I'm using here is Atlas but on the yard is almost everything hand laid. Also the rocks you see were from old molds and a lot of done by myself.

I have showed this one before but it was from the internet. I have finally received after 2,5 months stuck at USPS  my MDT Flat Car it is completely new even de box is also in perfect condition and never used. Amazing after I think this was done more dan 25 years ago even more maybe. You still can find models never used. There is a parts bag with air hoses and other stuff.

PSC big one the Z1B the one I was looking for a long time (crown series) finally I have this one a beauty. Only what I find it is to much too shiny but it runs very good. The water tender from PSC is what I already have and that finish I think will also the locomotive some day. I hope you like them.

I shrunk myself today to walk in my forest again I know earlier but try to take some pictures closer. it rains a lot here so why not I like detail and what is hard to find are good figures, if I have those maybe more fun or some life in the forest. I'm going to make more trees in this area the forest gets a bit bigger.

Protocraft

Just received and really beautiful from Protocraft, only I think they are a bit expensive unpainted if you compare it with Rich Yoder Models painted almost the same price. The decals are not included with the price but are separate. I was amazed at the quality what I saw on the forum of Santiago his box car so I start looking for such beautiful models and it became this gondola my first and I can say it will be more they are awesome and the build quality is one of the best. For me is the paint and a challenge to make it perfect. I show this model maybe more like this one. I like also there trucks.

Going forwards with the yard and don't have any kits left so I started to do scratch building and try new techniques in wood weathering. This building will be more detail and a petrol pump but also the weathering will be more with the airbrush later on. This is my first I hope it will be nice. I know some things must be done if it is correct I hope but the stack is not yet finished and of course everything is still loose.

I did today the gas pump the first weathering attempt, of course it will be not standing there is only drying if it is dry I go more in detail. I like this one it is a old kit. The hose is not glue yet so I don't know how it will be that is for later. The building I hope time in the next weekend to finished it more.

One step further on this part of the yard.  There will be machines that I'm currently working on in that open area. I also check if this is good before I glue it on the yard. Still also a lot of parts to make and a small house will come on the right of this building and cars of course but old cars... The track on the front is not yet ready. The ground around it goes step by step for the right effect.
