I figured here was the best place to post an issue I am having with an O22 post war switch track.  I noticed that as I was backing a short train over back to back switch tracks, one of the switch tracks hummed as the freight car bridged the insulating gap in the middle of the control rail.  Not where the fibre pin is but where the rail is gapped on the switch itself.  You'll notice in the first picture the upper switch track.  The gap on the control rail can clearly be seen.  The second picture shows the fibre pins inserted on each control rail of the two switch tracks shown in the first photo.  I don't have any wiring yet on the switches.  I may swap the upper switch track out with a spare I have to see if it's the switch track itself that may be questionable.   IMG_3094IMG_3095
