There was a thread on this subject that was blocked, but I found his site on the web and that he had decals "offered"

that I can use....anybody had RECENT experience with this source?  (all the old postings were saying his printer was

busted and they, customers,  were not getting decals?)

I believe Tom S and his Oddballs decals business are totally gone.

Back when all that other traffic about his business was being posted here on the forum...I asked him about some decals...we had done business before...he said to send the money...which I did...and he would send me the decals.  I did so using a USPS money order...thinking that if the deal fell through...I could somehow or the other sick the USPS postal inspectors on him.

Well the deal definitely fell through...I checked in with him every 3 months or so for about a year...and always got one of those "bogus" excuses.  It actually became comical to me.

Per my email records...my last reply from him was 27 May 2014...and my last email to him was in March 2015...he never replied to that one.

So...I just gave up...and figured he needed that money I sent him ($50...I think) more than I did.

I hope his is doing well.

Tom's commercial demise has been a real blow to fans of some roads--you just don't find Frisco gold tender fretwork or MoPac Eagle decals in O scale (not to mention S or G) anywhere else.  Some rolling stock can be found, but motive power decals are simply not out there without custom work.  It's a double shame because he made high-quality decals.  Not only was the printing sharp but they were easy to use, tough yet very thin.  The man was a passionate MoPac fan, too, with a decent HO layout, and a pretty good photographer.

A real shame.
