Well I can never remember my 8 digit Id without looking in my password book.
So I came up with this solution;
Since I have the magazine login url saved as a BOOKMARK, I decided that I would change the name of the bookmark to
“OGR mag xxxxxxxx”, where the x’s are my 8 digit I’d. Now it is right there when I want to login. No more having to get up to get my password book.

I use a password cache, LastPass. It remembers all this stuff for me and fills it in automatically. 
I use the same thing as John. For numerous reasons.
Do you mean your OGR Forum password? Is that what you are talking about? I ask because a Subscription Account Number is more than 8 digits.
I use a program called Dashlane to manage my passwords. Totally secure and it logs me into all my password-protected sites automatically.

Thanks, Rich, I am going to give that a try this weekend; I have already downloaded it and wlil get it set up when things are a little slower tomorrow.
One nice thing about Dashlane is that it will sync your passwords across all your devices. In my case that is two desktop PCs, a laptop, an Iphone, and an Ipad.
FWIW Rich, LastPass does the same thing. I have the the passwords on my tablet, laptop, computer, and phone.
I’m glad to at least get a conversation going even if it wasn’t exactly train related. I may try one of these software products. Thanks for your responses.

Good point, John. Lastpass and Dashlane both do a good job of managing passwords.
