I found an old, apparently DZ (Z-Stuff for trains) track side signal in some of my father's items. It was never hooked up and placed in a layout. All six LED lights do work - 2 Red, 2 Amber and 2 Green. While touching the rails, I switch the wires around, eventually, all six lights do work, just don't know how to hook it up properly. Since it is an older model, it does not have any infra-red sensors, just the three wires (Red, Green, Black). I don't know if it is for 2-rail, 3-rail or both since it is a scale model. I have no instructions and was wondering if anyone here would know how to wire it up. It has 2 green LEDS, two Amber LEDS and two Red LEDS. Apparently, it is supposed to have that built in delay switching from one set of colors to the next. If anyone has any information on this item, please let me know. Thanks guys!!

Ralph:

The red goes to 12-16VAC. The black goes to COM. The green wire controls the light sequence and is usually connected to a sensor. You can only use Z-Stuff sensors (1011, 1070, 1075) for this signal (I think it is a voltage thing). Dennis can tell you the precise wire connections.
Request - would you please post photo of both sides of the base and the bottom. I have a feeling this is not a Z-Stuff product.
Dennis usually uses white and yellow wires not green.
