beadog49 - The original versions of the Hornby LNER coaches shown below had opening doors for various class passengers, thus had 2 doors per coach.  They later, 1930's, eliminated the opening doors and went with just lithographed doors and windows to lower the cost and sold the carriages at a lower price.  I don't have one of the early versions, but here is a picture of the later ones for your comparison.  These bear a resemblance to your coach body. I am currently on vacation and away from my reference material but if I can come up with a picture of the early version I will post it.
