Per your request, I "reported" your thread to the moderator requesting that it be moved to the "track over track" thread.

You can report your own thread by clicking on the triangle image at the bottom of posts by others; there's no triangle in your own posts.

Really came out great and once the scenery was in place even better. Too bad though you did not have a bit more room for the grade. 4% is a steep grade which will limit the length of trains. The tighter the curves the more chance of cars tipping in on the curves. But still it's impressive............Paul

Most of the shops are HO and I have to go all the way over to the other side of town for the only O store. We do have McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park but still a drive to the other side of town.

Thank you, I am not done, I want to put a coal mine on top of the mountin, with the ON30 rail up there to my coal hopper. The coal hopper is from the '50 and I modified it a bit, but it still runs.

We all got to start somewhere. Here is the 1930-50 set my 80 year old Cousin gave me. I remember going to his house at Christmas and playing on the floor with it.

the track is 4 feet wide to allow the use of Atlas 48" curved track. There is a straight section in there to allow the offset to pass under the upper track and exit the bottom. That was the tricky part. trying to keep the height and get the offset. The mountain is slightly bigger following the track.
