I just wanted to share some photos tonight are the operating session on the glacier line. We had the best time ever! Everybody was jockeying for position and the DCS remote. We only have five remotes. Tonight convince me that we have to go to Wi-Fi. It would have been really great to access the trains using a telephone because we had run out of remotes.

I wanted to encourage those who haven't that when you plan your layout plan the most important element of all and that is participation. People love to actually physically participate in the hobby. If your track just runs a circle there's not that much to do generally speaking.

I also firmly believe that getting them physically involved with the train and becoming part of the process might encourage them to actually get into the hobby. One of our operators brought his brother over tonight who was visiting from Iowa. The brother is considering a hobby. My operator friend is trying to show his brother the fun involved in model railroading. We all had an outstanding time tonight. The only problem is that I probably need to get a Wi-Fi for the DCS. We were jockeying for position tonight and searching for remote to use. I think it's past time I get the Wi-Fi on this so we can use a phone if push come to shove. Here are a few random pictures from tonight.
