Operating LionChief Plus on Track when TMCC/Legacy signal is present

I am thinking that you can operate a Lion Chief plus loco with its dedicated remote on a layout where a Legacy base is also connected.The Legacy hand Held would not be used for the Lion Chief plus engine. The track voltage is set by using the variable channel of a DCS system also in the track circuit.

Has anyone done this and are their any recommendations for voltage settings or other hints . Thinking uou could alos operate a PS-2 or 3 or Legacy/TMCC engine at the same time with the appropriate handheld.

I have operated two LC+ and a legacy at the same time. The voltage was 18 volts from the z4000 through legacy powermasters to the tracks. i set the speed of the two LC+ engines and paid most my attention on the legacy Tuscan. Works great.

I think the only thing the LC+ engine cares about is that there's 18 volts (approx.) in the track. Give it that and it'll do it's own thing independently.
