I am thinking about purchasing one of the 3 new UP 4-12-2's offered by Lionel

in their newest catalog.  Stock numbers are 6-11342, -11343, and -11344.  If

you purchased and have operated one, please let me know your opinion about

its operational and cosmetic features.  If you can post a video that would be

even better.  I think there may have been a thread about this engine posted

before but I have had no success in locating it.  Thanks for your help.  Jim

I have the #11343. Its a beautiful model that requires super wide curves to fully appreaciate its value.  Only deficit,  Does not run well over Lionel tubular switches

Great whistle and authenic three cylinder steam sounds makes this engine unique from all others I own. Unlike the others, you know its the #9000 without seeing it..

Also, love the white drivers, decorated tender and whistle steam really adds to the enjoyment.

Joe
