I am going to place an order to digi-key for some TVS diodes (1.5KE33ca and 1.5KE36ca) is there anything else I should keep handy. I just want to keep some of the known problems at bay. I may want to go to passive down the road and have read that there are somethings I need too, could someone help me with that list as well.

Not sure what equipment you're working with but I would say that keeping some speakers handy to replace the bad ones in MTH equipment would be a good idea.
DigiKey ships very rapidly. Rather than tying dollars and space with a pile of stuff you'll probably never use, you're better off ordering what you want when, and if, you need it.
