I just bought this very original and pleasantly worn Lionel Standard Gauge 392E and 12-wheel tender. I understand the original thing, I really do. But reproduction units are accurate, beautiful and affordable. I just went through the same thing with my 385E last year. I settled on a great used set of repros. And Christmas was saved.
