I am trying to add TMCC to my layout, I got some fastrack operating track that I would like to operate using the LEGACY remote. I got the OTC Controller(6-14185). After doing some research and following the instructional videos on how to incorporate and “re-wire” the fast track to work with the controller, I’m stuck. The uncoupling piece works perfectly, when I try the unload function it appears to not get enough power to flip the dump car or log cars that I’m using, I hear a humming like its trying but just not doing it. I believe the transformers are providing enough power, seems that the OTC controller isn’t giving all the power needed. Ive removed the OTC controller from the equation and hooked up the remote that comes with it and it works perfectly fine. Has anyone experienced this issue? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

So I’ve made some progress here but still scratching my head a bit, I basically followed the instructional video again step by step and used the barrel car as my test car. Success it works as expected, I then try a coal and log dump car with the slide shoes and back to my original problem. Seems like there isn’t enough power getting to the track, just a slight hum from the track when I hit Aux 2. So I started to experiment a bit more. I reconnected the magnet and ran the number 2 wire from the OTC controller to the magnet connection under the Fastrak operating track(formerly the black connection) and that started to work but both the uncoupling magnet and operating rails would work using just the Aux 2 button on my legacy remote, Aux 1 would short the track. And big surprise, the barrel car would not work with this configuration, the track actually shorts every time. Has anyone experienced this? These OTC controllers seem to be rather finicky or maybe I’m doing something wrong. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks in advance.
