NYC Fan, Wow, that’s a stunning picture with the big bridge backdrop, and you have a really nice layout. Beautiful passenger trains, neat trackwork. The two tug boats look absolutely at home in the scene you’ve captured. Please add some more pictures of your layout for our pleasure. Thank you very much. Your observation cars are awesome to. The north Jersey carriage trade is indeed treasured by the Central Boulevard System’s General Passenger Agent, Pete Kruimer.

Since only the best will do, the COL recently took delivery of a brand new all First Class conveyance imported from Germany and built by Lionel-Shuco GmBH.

Known as a Rail Zeppelin, this vehicle offers true dead rail, battery free operation via an environmentally friendly, fuel free thumb drive propulsion system. See this revolutionary railcar’s maiden run here -

Hey all,  thought anyone interested in passenger trains would be interested in an article on famous trains. It is a story written by Tom Kacich posted in the Champaign News Gazette - link follows - free access for first 3 articles. Mostly focused on the Illinois Central trains, it describes meals available and travel times and speeds. Fun short read.

Here’s a sweet series of 50s Lionel Lines passenger cars being pulled by the PRR engine that was in an early LC set called The Broadway Limited.

Pdxtrains, those passenger cars, which I believe are known as the Lionel Postwar 2400 Series passenger cars, are my favorites. They navigate 031 curves, even 027 curves, very well, and I like the names of the NJ cities and towns on them.

They look great behind  Jersey Central locomotives, and I also run them with Pennsylvania and NY Central engines. Arnold

Arnold, the colorful postwar Jersey switcher Lionel 611 would look great pulling these. I'm going to look for one!
