Just got a Polar Express set for a child in my life. Placed it on my trackage, put new batteries in the remote and turned it on the whistle and bell work bu it won't move tried it in the trackage that came with it same thing. Downloaded the Lion Chief app and it will not recognize the engine? Suggestions

What is the power source for the engine?
On my layout a 1000. when on the trackage that came with it the little wall wart that came with it.

Well, if the remote triggers the whistle and bell, but can't move the engine, then I'd say there's something amiss with the engine.
