How about supply and demand?   Perhaps everyone who wanted one, already has it, hence there is no demand for more.

 

It was a rare loco and I think stayed around Columbus Ohio for most of its career.   For a pennsy buff, it may not be very high on the priority list.    It is not high on my list because I am primarily focused on the Mongehela Division.    Basically I avoid all duplexes and articulateds.

Maybe because it is nothing but a big switcher or pusher with limited appeal?  It's not exactly a locomotive for the "Broadyway Limited."
