I saw this on another forum, (SASS Forum).  I don't remember seeing it here, at all.  He posted here for at least a dozen years, and I'm sure many will remember him.  His first name was Charlie, he lived in south Jersey before he moved south.

May he Rest in Peace.

I only had one occasion to meet Charlie....I drove down to his home in South Jersey a few years ago to pick up some train display cases as he was cleaning out the house and garage, getting ready for his move south.  I remember his friendly nature, we talked about trains and dogs for a while.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

Yes, I too remember his posts. PennsyK4 was a pleasant , friendly and reasonable voice in our little community, here on OGR. I am sorry he is gone.

I hope plenty of us took the opportunity while he was alive to tell him we enjoyed his company and input here.

Thank you, Mr. Cuozzo, for letting us know.

I too really miss Charlie. He was a really great guy. He loved trains, his dogs and his family. It was posted here on 11/10/15 under Charlie Augustine, but I guess not a whole lot of people knew him by that name and the thread got off the top page. It is such a shame that he retired to Florida to be near his sister only to live about a year there. He never had a bad word to say about anybody. His email was something like TheRancocasKid@...... Charlie I hope you rode off into the sunset on your way to heaven.

Here is a picture of him operating his layout with his nephews: CharlieAugustine04

Charlie and I graduated from the same high school in 1955 and reconnected on this forum

about 2004,after reconnecting we met for breakfast every two weeks and ran trains at my house or his.He did not want to move to Florida but his sister retired there.I told him to marry a nurse and get free long term care. That`s what I did so far so good.
