Hi.

This car has no number and no "American Flyer" mark on it anywhere. There is a Great Northern logo on both sides. I see a lot of AF tinplate cars with the same shell design, but I can't find a 4 wheel version with the same frame and with journals. Does anyone know the number of this boxcar? Thanks

That is a fairly common frame, even with journals on it.  The most recent Greenberg's Guide to O gauge shows a picture of the car on the bottom of page 129 in the group of cars it typically came with in a set.  The guide indicates that these cars typically came in sets with no numbers on the cars and does not assign a number to the car.  Rather the guide indicates that this car typically came in the 1928-1929 set called the Oriental Limited.
