Polar Express Movie The Perfect Movie To Watch After Finals.

It is a great Christmas movie. That's neat that you first saw it with your grandfather. I have it on Blue Ray 3-d which is not bad, but for the full effect see it in IMAX 3-d if possible.

Khayden, it sounds like you'll have good memories of The Polar Express all your life.  What a nice way to relax after the stress of finals.  Merry Christmas to you and all.

great movie. I caught parts of it tonight while I was downstairs building shelves. I like to lay on the floor next to the tree when I watch it.

Some day I hope to have one of the sets or make my own with lionel postwar equipment. I still hear the bell.

The book was really great but I found the movie unwatchable. Haven't seen it again since it came out. Felt the same way about Unstoppable. Being a professional railroader changed my perspective on a lot of things. 

This is a family event for us annually.  We actually watched it last night.  We have seen it so many times, we are now at the point where we are trying to see "new things" that we did not notice in prior viewings.

Last night my wife noticed Billy's house.  When the PE picked him up the house was cold blue/grey and covered with ice.  The house upstairs windows and porch resembled a sad face.

When the PE dropped Billy off after visiting the North Pole the house had a warm glow, no icicles and the windows and porch now resembled a smiling face.  There was also a wreath on the door and a lit tree in the window.

It's fun to see all those things the creators took the time to do that go unnoticed the first time you watch a movie.
