Since it’s the Christmas season its that time of year again.  I have been watching the Polar Express movie. I saw it with my grandfather back in 2004 when it came out and I do have the book as well loved reading that growing up. Have had it playing  while I work on a few projects. Nice to relax after doing finals.

Since I have finished finals, I can finally work on some projects I had to put off to the side.

I'll be working on my layout and work on sorting some of my train stuff.

Finally got my grades for my finals, I passed both my Math final and Anthropology final now my winter break can begin.

Merry Christmas everyone!

This is a family event for us annually.  We actually watched it last night.  We have seen it so many times, we are now at the point where we are trying to see "new things" that we did not notice in prior viewings.

Last night my wife noticed Billy's house.  When the PE picked him up the house was cold blue/grey and covered with ice.  The house upstairs windows and porch resembled a sad face.

When the PE dropped Billy off after visiting the North Pole the house had a warm glow, no icicles and the windows and porch now resembled a smiling face.  There was also a wreath on the door and a lit tree in the window.

It's fun to see all those things the creators took the time to do that go unnoticed the first time you watch a movie.
