Apple - for creating movies?  iMovie is probably one of the best consumer friendly video packages I have ever worked with.  So if that is the type of editing you are asking about.

 

I made the Tutorials with a product called ScreenFlow - It's windows counterpart is Camtasia.  It allows you to record your computer screen and then it has an editor where you can zoom up the screen, highlight the cursor, etc.  Some people try to use it for all their editing, but it is best suited for screen capture.
