I am retired and new to the hobby, but having a lot of fun. I am building a MTH layout and have a cross over from an outside track to an inside track that I made by joining two left hand MTH RealTrax O42 switches. I own a Norfolk and Western J Class 611 with PS3 and aNorfolk and Southern Diesel, both MTH PS3 run with DCS WiFi. When either train enters the switches to proceed straight on either paralleled track there is a hesitation like the signal is lost and then a return to normal speed. If I run slowly , the engines will come to a complete stop and shut down. This only happens when the train is moving through from the left as I face the switches. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I also see a spark when the engine passes through on the outside track. I have the very same arrangement made with two right hand switches at another location on the layout and there are no issues at that second location.
