A friend wants to know how to set up a small relay to activate a larger relay to power up 2 remote tracks using one 14 ga bus wire . The control switches would be at a remote location.
You could use the cheap relay modules from China which are rated at 10 amps. Those modules would need a 5 or 12 volt source which can be achieved with an AC to DC buck converter from the accessory voltage of a transformer.
I don't see the need for 2 relays in this scenario. But if that's what you've got to work with it can surely be done.
