The station is a copy of Lionel's 840 from the prewar era. A quick internet search yields that Lionel's largest accessory is a massive 26"L x 21.5"W x 18"H. MTH webpage here.
Note that it was also reproduced by T-reproductions. Some MTH/ LCT/ Lionel reproductions have operating smoke. As designed, there is room for two step transformers inside, and knife switches are provided to operate several accessories. Additional info here and elsewhere.

Condition? Price seems a little low! Caveat emptor should be invoked here. Also shipping will be high due to size and weight!
I agree it seems low. Pictures look nice. It's a reputable seller on that sale page. If I didn't already have one, I'd buy it.
But as we all know, it's a buyers market for a multitude of reasons. I see really nice original 115 stations under $100. Sure weren't when I was looking!
My 840 came from California to Michigan. I don't remember the exact shipping, but it wasn't cheap.
I won an auction for my T Reproductions 840 for $165.50. Deals can be had. It had some chips in the stairs but was in good condition otherwise. The T Reproductions 840 did not come with the Lionel sign. I was able to buy that separately.

GOOD LUCK at any rate! The original MTH box had some elaborate packing material to protect this accessory. Hopefully, the seller has the original box and packing for a safe shipment!
