Hello, I’m looking for someone or company to repair the head unit for the 135 watt transformer w/ throttle controller.  I bought a used set from eBay and it is defective.  I have done everything under the sun to get to try to reset the head unit.  As soon as the power is turned on, it starts to flash even with no wires connected to the outputs.  I hit the direction button that is suppose to reset the unit but it doesn’t.  I really like the style of the controller and to me, it just looks better.
Please let me know if anyone knows who I can contact to get it repaired. I live in Richmond, Virginia so if anyone knows a local repair person tha5 would be great.

Well, the head unit hasn't been cataloged for nearly two decades now, and given the fault is internal on the circuit board, you don't really need a train person to repair it, but an electronics guru that can reverse engineer the circuit board and find the faulty component(s) and replace them. It could be as simple as blown MOSFET or shorted capacitor which can be replaced with compatible parts from any electronics supplier, or it could end up being a programmed PIC that can only be harvested from another identical circuit board. Since you indicate a recent defective eBay purchase, I would consider returning it.
