Re: Power up with Legacy

I haven't run my trains in 4 years. I have a new Legacy base 1L, Legacy POWERMASTER, and 180 watt powerhouse, and Cab-1L. I have power wires connected to my Lionel FasTrack. I have my accessories connected to a bus line using a Lionel 80 watt transformer including my switches. I want to run a conventional loco just to make a test run. I have the the POWERMASTER switch on conv. I have have green lights on the POWERMASTER and base. The headlight on the loco will not light and I cannot move the loco with the Cab 1L. What is wrong?

You have to program the powermaster. Give it a number.

I did program the POWERMASTER. I also set the Legacy Base with the Cab-1L. So they communicate. I tested this by pressing the horn button on the remote and the Base and Trainmaster blinked red. Both the POWERMASTER on Base show a steady green. When I go to operate a conventional loco I address the POWERMASTER and press the Boost button and move the wheel the steady red light comes on the POWERMASTER. When i press the 0 number and go through the same steps mentioned above, the steady red comes on the POWERMASTER again. I cannot move the loco or sound the horn on the with the Cab-1L. HELP?
