Pre war 616 Flying Yankee pick up | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I recently purchased the flying yankee project knowing it will require replacement pick ups. Any suggestions where I can get these? What the parts number might be?

Also, any suggestions on where I can see a parts diagram and wiring diagram? I will need to figure out how to wire it to get it running again.

Upon further research, I found a previous post on OGR that included the Olson's service diagram. I believe I need part numbers 16M-14 fiber and contact shoe. It included a wiring diagram.

Now I need to find the parts

Two questions before I order the part

1. how do I remove the motor assembly to work on the collector replacement?

2. Do I have to buy the frame spreading tool to get the old collector out?
