Still looking for an operating manual, if anyone has a copy would greatly appreciate it, additionally does this train have a smoke unit? I didn't see one but wasn't sure. Thanks
no smoke, just forward-neutral-reverse, tenders had whistles if they are a "w" number, none if they are "T", usually rubber stamped on the bottom. They didn't come with operating manuals as that is pretty much what you need to know outside of oil and lube. If all is in order, they run great. Smoothest prewar engine I ever had was a 238E.
