Good Morning.

I have been looking at a friend's unit and have found that the front powered truck (motor) is rotating slower than the rear powered truck (motor) predominately at lower speeds  This appears to be causing the front truck to "drag" the rear truck resulting in poor operation.  Is there any solution?

Sincerely,

Stephen

If this is a unit with speed control, it's most likely normal.  Unless it's on the track, one truck frequently looks like it's running faster than the other.

One test to do.  Rotate each motor's flywheel through a complete rev of the drive wheels.  If it rotates freely with no binding, that's probably all there is to it.  Another thing to check is that the motor mount screws are secure.

As mentioned, the actual product number helps a lot as there are a number of truck, motor mount, and speed control designs.
