I was wondering if anyone can help me with this...
Have 2 MTH RealTrax switches that for whatever reason, whenever there is either a track bumper placed on the end of the spur, or a car is placed on the track, the switch when i try to throw it, makes a buzzing noise and refuses to move.
Yet, if I remove that RealTrax bumper piece and/or the passenger cars it works fine.
Ideas?

You need to ensure that the switch track's control rails (the outside rails inside the "V" of the switch) are completely isolated from their adjacent outside rails.
Each bumpers is shorting the two outside rails of the siding track together, putting Common to the switch's control rail.
Thanks Barry, how can I fix it? Is that some kind of design flaw?

You should be able to just file off a bit of the solid rail on the switch track control rail ends and also make sure that there's no contact of the brass strips under the switch for those rails, as well.
