This weekend I worked on programming my ZW-C. I am able to program it with a TMCC remote as a Track. It says on the last page of the manual that the ZW-C can be programmed as either a Track or an Engine. There are no instructions on how to program it as an Engine though. I assume it is ENG - ID# - SET, but that did not work. The ZW-C has 4 PowerMasters inside it, but I don't know if they have all the capabilities of a regular PowerMaster. Any ideas? Can this be done?

I want to do this because I want to control the ZW-C from my DCS. I don't believe there is an option for DCS to control a TMCC Track.

Thank you,

George

As far as I know, you can only program the ZW-C as a Track ID, with a further restriction that you can only us Track IDs 1 thru 6, as you need four address, one per voltage control, the the max ID is 9 (i.e., if you assign ID 6, the controls would be 6, 7, 8, and 9).

The ZW-L can be addressed as a Track or an Engine, with no ID restrictions other than not using Engine ID 99, the universal Legacy Engine ID.
