Last week I put up the facade to my layout. I am using 1/4" masonite. I painted (used roller) the facade a dark green color, using a flat latex paint. When I put up the facade I had aligned it about 1" above the table top. After seeing Jim & Linda Quick's layout this past weekend I decided that the facade should be even with the table top. I started lowering the facade this afternoon. Everywhere I touched it I got finger and scratch marks on it.
After I put a second coat of paint on it, is there something clear I can paint over it to protect it? I was thinking of some type of clear urethane.
