I have several older MTH engines (IE: 20-2151-1) that are Proto-Sound equipped. Everything works great EXCEPT the diesel revs. As the engine begins to move the revs go up one notch for a short time, then return to idle no matter how fast the engine is moving.
1) Is there a reset function that adjusts the diesel rev sensitivity? All the reset charts I have found refer to CHUFF RATE (for steam) but not to DIESEL REVS.
2) If controllable, how many diesel "notches" are available at higher speeds
3) Are these a different generation than PS-1 equipped engines?
First post. Thanks for any guidance.
Steve
