Recently Bobby Ogauge included several Providence and Danielson Railway images in his post on RI streetcars.  In addition to passenger cars and express motors, this line had boxcars, flatcars (one of which appears in the post), and at least one milk car.  I know this is a long shot, but has anyone seen a photo of a P&D milk car?  Thanks.

In case you were wondering, the Providence & Danielson handled milk in its express cars before buying a dedicated milk car.  This 1903 photo of one of the express cars shows quite a lot of milk on the platform and in the background.  I think this was the most common way that electric railroads handled the milk business.  One account of the Meriden & Southington, however, mentioned that milk cans were carried on the open platforms of its regular passenger cars.  So I guess it depended on the volume.
