This past Monday I spoke with Domenic Arlia (DJs Trains) who is a CSX engineer and who makes drone videos of steel mills, railroad facilities and bridges. I convinced him to make a video of the ex-PRR (now NS) bridge across the Ohio River between Steubenville, OH and Weirton, WV.
That video is now available on YouTube and it is spectacular.

George, Domenic, what a great video of the bridge. and to catch the NS in action was icing on the cake. Driving past the bridge almost daily, the view from the drone is unique. Domenic, Thank you so much for coming down to the area and doing this video. FYI, what's left of Weirton steel is rapidly disappearing. The strip steel and the tin mill remain, but the primary end (BFs, BOP, ore piles, Sinter plant, & coke plant) have all been scrapped out and are a field of grass now. Thanks again. Great video!!
George, Thank you for asking Dominic to video the bridge with his drone. I have seen several of his other videos also. He does a great job.

I thought of you when I saw the video and was going to post it here. He mentioned in the video that someone asked him to make this video, which now I know was you. It certainly was some good footage and gave me flashbacks of walking across it when I was a younger.

Yes, Weirton Steel is disappearing. My layout is about attempting to capture what Weirton was like in its heyday.
