Yes.  Are you talking brass?  Brass had the basics, with a 4 wire harness and a QSI DCRU.  So it would be easy to add the QSI power supply and Sound board.  Or, just add the MTH PS-1 bottom and top board and a electocoupler.

New Williams Cast may be a little harder since many have the reverse unit in the engine an no tether.  G

No, not talking about brass, just a typical conventional Williams diesel. I have several Williams that run really well but no prime mover sounds and really lame horn. Looking around I have at least one MTH PS1 diesel that I've been thinking about turning into a dummy unit so I thought I'd try to use the PS1 electronics in the Williams.

One big diff is that the Williams does not have a cavity in the fuel tank for a speaker. I need to figure how I'm going to approach that. Several options seem possible.

If successful, I may go out hunting for other PS1 locos and their guts since I have a number of WBB locos that I like and they look good, run good but unfortunately don't sound good. The old PS1 sounds are still better than the new upgraded WBB sounds.

The procedure is even more justifiable when the donor PS1 diesel is something that would make a nice dummy unit to something you already have.
