Hello all, and thank you for letting me join this forum.
I have a PS1 challenger that the previous owner upgraded to PS2. The engine is now dead and the relay on the board just clicks once per second. No lights, no sounds , just clicks. TIU cant see the engine and conventional is a no go. I unplugged everything from the board I could (coupler, smoke unit, lights ) Still clicks. I separated the boards with no issues and can not see anything visually wrong. I am familiar with electronics, but with no schematic, im kinda shooting in the dark. I am guessing is would be a blown filter cap on the AC to dc supply and the relay is clicking due to pulsed DC being fed and unfiltered, but the caps look fine and the couple non surface mount ones test fine....Any ideas???
