PS2 Non Powered light board burned

Item 20-20018-3 GP 35 non powered

NIB from 2010 acquired from E-Bay seller who's dad operated a train shop in Mi that closed down a few years back & sons are selling stock.

3 days into service, powered up & smoked the board powering LH lights with short continuing.

Disconnected hot feed to burnt board & SH lights on & short cleared.

The boards are mounted on a separate heat sink with the 1 still functioning gets very warm.

Tried looking the part up on mth web site, but item # not coming up, although I am able to bring up -1 & -2 powered parts, but not seeing light boards, (maybe integrated with ps2 board)?

any & all advice appreciated; where can I get a light board? Is this a common failure & is there a revision?

or, is this an indication of a short in light circuit?

Picture helps. Early stuff was a simple CV board at 6V. e-mail to midge at MTH can get your answer. G

I emailed these pics to Midge jan 9. No reply yet, She is suppose to chase down the pt # & availability. Gary, if you have them, I'd be interested in a pair. RC 330-466-46o1

I did contact Midge & emailed these pics to her. She's suppose to figure out the part # & availability. That was Jan 9th. Nothing back yet. Gary, if you have them, I'd like a pair. Thx RC. 330-466-46o1

According to Midge, They located 1 of the boards for purchase; MTH CV board # AG-0000016. The part is en route @ $30.00 total. Thx everyone. I may update after installation.
