Well, yes and no.  You have to mod the 5V PS/2 board to support two smoke units, so unless the person wants to deal with surface mount parts and modifying the boards, that statement is false.  Perhaps you may have read this in the ASC service manual?

I don't count that as supporting two smoke units as it won't out of the box.

Look at the board Barry, the factory likely made the mod to the board.

Unfortunately, I must decline for two reasons:

  • First, I'm not that interested in knowing if the board has been modified.
  • Second and more importantly, I make it a practice to not open a perfectly working engine unless there's compelling need to do so.
