This afternoon I received my order for extension and connecting wires from Woodlands Scenic. Was sort of excited and anxious both so I began what I thought was going to be simple task just before supper.
My hole I bored weeks ago through the top of the tunnel was not large enough to accommodate the Just Plug white ends. So after nearly an hour I drilled the hole located under the school building larger with a 1/2” paddle bit through the top, the styrofoam, and the tunnel lower deck.
The simplicity then kicks in and I ran the four wires to the Just Plug Light Hubs and tested the four lights. First, second, third floors all illuminated and so did the gymnasium.
So the warm feeling happens seeing the lights working and tomorrow the exterior Lamps for each doorway will be connected. The light hub will be connected to the Just Plug panel I have developed.
I find Just Plug system is a bit cumbersome a system, but the realism kicks in when we can turn up and down separate lights for the town, the system sequence light hub turns off and on the lights at different times. It offers different capabilities. The night scene of the town and the school on the hill will compliment each other soon.
