I was planning to put a tsunami soundtraxx and an Airwire G3 or G4 into my Weaver CNJ red baron RS3. This is a black box engine, with horizontal motor and single drive shaft.

I bought the engine about 22 years ago, and it hasn't been out of the box except for a couple of test runs.

I tried to fit a G3 into the body in place of the old reverse unit, but the board is too wide to fit inside the shell, and it must sit flat, owing to where the motor, weights, and drive shaft are placed.

Is there anybody else who has had this issue? If so, what are my options?

Thanks

Hi Trainman, if there is still time I would suggest a better idea. I have been converting these engines  for years and there is a single board made by Ring Engineering that will fit. No need to add the Tsunami plus the G3 or G4.

I can provide you with more details and photos. Please use the email listed in my profile.
