Putting Milwaukee back into a "Joe"

I recently bought a Weaver Milwaukee Little Joe on ebay.  It is a beautifully done model, but has one noticable departure from the prototype.  The pantographs are not the unique Milwaukee style.  So I decided to modify them by adding brass wire "hoops."  

I made a jig to bend the wire, then tried to super glue them in place.  The glue just would not hold.   I ended up soldering them.  It was a PITA, and eventually I got it right.  I now have a new appreciation for the art of brass modeling.  Here are the before, during, and after pictures.

Nice job, and great-looking model!

I also find the same thing with super-glue. A bit over-rated and no good on anything non-organic.
