Recent member. I have been interested in the QBP station history for some time  and this site has had some great threads on the station. What i have not seen is any old photos of the BMT Corona ( and later Flushing) shuttle between 1924 and 1939. In that time period the shuttle was employed in a round robin fashion with a diamond crossover east ( over jackson ave ) of the station.

I have seen old photos before 1924 where the original track layout was for BMT subway cars  to and from corona merging with BMT subway cars from /to  Astoria on the upper and lower most  Northern  platforms of the now removed BMT station.

I also have seen many 1939-1948 photos showing the fixed BMT Corona shuttle scheme where the diamond crossover was simply reduced to a simple  crossover with both to/from corona shuttle cars using only the lower most Northern platform  of the  BMT station .

Any photos of the  1924-1939  time period showing the diamond crossover  would be greatly appreciated.
