I know that there are many here who are from Canada or enjoy modeling Canadian Railroads. Pat's trains is offering a QNS&L ore car. The QNS&L frequently pulls ore cars and now RMT, through Pat's trains , is offering some nice looking ore cars that would be a great match for Lionel's Quebec North Shore & Labrador LEGACY C44-9W from a couple of year's ago.

In the late 1970's, took family up to Quebec to photograph iron ore railroads. Got the grand tour from a QNS&L official at Sept Illes complex, road the tri-weekly passenger trip to Lab City, helicopter ride along the route with track foreman, Wabush Lake RR passenger train and photographed the remote-control electric railway near Lab City. Even photographed the elusive Quebec Iron & Titanium RR at Harve St. Piere...about 100+ miles north of Sept Illes on a dirt road. Their daily employee passenger train was a former DL&W Phoebe Snow coach with an MP15 diesel!

Had a rental car there but no mileage charge...only 10 miles of roads! Flew back with a bush pilot...now that was an airplane ride.

Got to find all those slides someday.

Great story! We should add that locomotive to the Lionel catalog wish list.

Disappointment plus.  Tried to order a couple of the Quebec North Shore &Labrador  ore cars but Pat’s trains won’t ship to Canada. Now that’s sad!  Would have paid the extra post costs.  To Pat,  I say thanks neighbour.

That’s ironic. As someone who’s mother’s family is French Canadian I would be happy to help a brother out.

Let me know how many you want and have them shipped to me. When they arrive I will send them to you and you Pat me. How does that sound!
