I was lucky enough to get a K-line late model A-A F-7. They came with added detail, including brass side mirrors, cloth diaphragms, air hoses and much more. Also included was two extra front aprons. One closed as in the picture and a black one with scale coupler on it. I pulled the electro coupler and Lionel type apron off the front unit and replaced it with the closed one. I wondered why they sent a black scale one. It didn't match the Milwaukee paint at all. Then I was lucky again and found another K-line late A-A in a unopened box. This set had never been run. The only difference was there was no dummy scale coupler apron. Anyone know if at the end of the company they were running out of parts or what? Don

I can't answer your question but didn't the MR have dynamic brakes as an option? I noticed the Kline "F7" do not have the dynamic brake cooling fans behind the cab.

K-line sold F-3s and F-7s with no change in tooling that I know of. Don

I have the late PRR Brunswick F3s and they are beautiful with the added mirrors and other fine detail. I changed the larger pilot for the scale coupler one but didn't receive a third that I can remember.

Yes it does have dynamic brakes. The models have the rectangular F3 style d/b openings, which along with the low "pancake fans" actually makes them phase IV F3s.
