That's not the "dropdown" I'm talking about.  Sadly, since it no longer works, I can't post a screen shot of it!

I have that bar, it's always there.  However, there was a second one that only appears when you scroll in a topic or index, that one is gone and does not appear any more.

This one is NOT what I'm talking about!

GRJ, this post of yours has piqued my interest. Specifically, what second bar are you referring to? Other than drop-downs, the bar you show is the only full width bar, other than the URL bar, that I've ever encountered using Win 10 and Firefox for this forum and it's always been located at the top of the page just below the URL bar.

Rich,

There used to be a line that only appears after you scroll in a forum that dropped down with navigation. I'd love to show you, but it's gone!

I figured out I can do the same thing using the on the line that always sticks at the top, so I'm just doing that.  I just didn't know why that behavior changed.  However, I'm all good, I've learned a new way to do the same thing.

The "unsubscribe" was just to get the peanut gallery off my back, I think you can close this one now.

I always got the bar in Windows and I think it was without scolling.  Android puts it in a dropdown "hamburger menu"(horizontal bars) in the upper left. Occasionally I see a Windows version, but it doesn't work. I refresh and it usually behaves again. I'm betting there was a glitch on reading the user agent and Windows couldn't load it all correctly.
