So how did the bridge inspection go. I hope you at least recommended blast and paint.
RBMN made North Reading one of my favorite places to go. I’m surprised they keep all that stuff parked there. I suspect it would be safer in Port Clinton. Maybe they keep it there for PR/marketing.

Wow, looks awesome! I used to ride the Blue Mountain and Reading as a kid. Amazing how the operation has grown.
They also made a customer today. A very nice lady in the booth informed me they were open for business this year for Christmas trips. We just booked a trip for us parents and our 4 and 1 year old kiddos in the dome car. Looking forward to it very much and happy to have such a unique railroad this close to home.

Taking a ride on the Reading* Santa Claus Special is the best medicene one can prescribe to get rid of the low spirits facing mankind at the moment. There are many more of course, not to forget the Strasburg Rail Road, to name one more.
