When you see a layout go from finished to deconstructed, it's amazing how different and sometimes, basic, the the layout structure actually is. We view a finished layout as a piece of art, which it is, but the underneath the bones seem very simple. I guess that's the way it is with every complex thing in the world like houses, cars, etc.

Got to see trains run across the trestle again!

I had just finished building the trestle, it wasn’t even painted yet. My friend Owen texted me and said he wanted to come over and see it. That was our last conversation before his untimely passing. Ever since I’ve called the trestle “Owens pass”.  I got chocked up when I saw what Joe added to it.

Thanks Joe!
