I have recently completed an O scale model of a "Redler" 50 ton coaling plant for the O scale Dulth Winnipeg & Pacific. These were rather unusual structures, apparently more common in Canada than the US. The DWP had two, one in West Duluth and one in West Virginia, MN.

The book "Evening before the Diesel" has many plans and photos of coal and water towers on the GTW. It is a great book. I always liked the 50ton coaling tower on the DSS&A at Marquette MI. I think Bachmann made a model in HO.
