Hi To All,

Over the summer I was able to get a Lionel 364 Lumber loader for our Christmas Layout. After tearing it down to clean I noticed that the bracket on the motor that the tension spring post goes through had broken off the motor. The bracket is fine but I don't believe there is enough material  on the 3 posts on the motor that align the bracket to the motor to re pin them. Any ideals  would be welcome. Should I try an drill and tap the remaining 3 posts or try some JD weld. Regards dadroadie

It is a 364 conveyor loader, not the 164 log loader.
The referenced bracket uses three swedged "nubs" on the gearbox to hold the motor. Drilling into the gearbox/ bearing endplate (364M-11) needs to be done very carefully to avoid interference with the wormshaft and gearing. With this said, it is probably the best option for a secure connection.
